Fast Carbs generally have a high “Glycemic Load” and are converted much more quickly to sugar which can cause an increased insulin reaction and shift your body into Fat Storing Mode, basically telling it to store everything you eat as fat instead of burning it for energy.

That means that, when you eat a meal that is mostly Fast Carbs, it is likely to cause your blood sugar (and insulin levels) to rise and put your body into Fat Storing Mode.

Here’s a typical day’s food for many people:
